Product descriptionDesigned to prevent damage to the tanks of oil-filled transformers, autotransformers and reactors in the event of a sudden increase in internal pressure above the permissible level.
The valve springs press the disc against the valve housing. The housing is mounted on the tank.
The pressure created by the transformer oil acts on the disc on the other side, counteracting the springs. When the force of the oil acting on the disc exceeds that of the springs – the valve opens.
When the oil force decreases, the valve closes.
- The response pressure is 80 kPa.
- The diameter of the nominal bore is 170 mm.
