Product descriptionThe fluid flow rotates the rotor inside the sensor housing. The rotor rotates proportionally to the flow. The contactless switch located in the sensor housing is triggered when the rotor blades equipped with magnets or metal parts pass by it. The sensor consists of a paddle wheel (impeller) driven into rotation due to the flow rate of the measured medium. Each revolution of the wheel corresponds to a certain value of the flow per unit of time. The perception of the rotation speed is carried out by a variety of sensor systems placed in enclosures made of various materials. Some sensors are equipped with a built-in LED indicator, which, after overclocking the sensor, blinks to indicate that the rotor is rotating.
